Meeting The Need Consulting Inc formerly known as Youth in Effect Inc. was the first youth development organization owned and managed by a pioneer rap artist from Harlem N.Y, who specializes in juvenile delinquency prevention and character building.

Ms. Victory Ledgerwood, who has been serving at risk teens from diverse backgrounds, by providing specially designed character development training workshops, support services and some recreational activities targeting teenagers in socio-economically depressed city neighborhoods.

Organizations who have benefited tremendously from the programs and services have been Lou Key Baby, Covenant House, The New York state Department of Juvenile Justice, Peter J. Sharp DJJ Non-Secure Detention Facility, The Miller Branch Library of New Jersey and The New York City Board of Education.
